We help people do the things they want to do with more ease and enjoyment.

Our vision of learning is much broader than just school-based academics. Learning is finding a new way of doing something, whether that is a baby starting to crawl, a child playing on a skateboard, a teenager finding a way through an argument with a friend, athletes or musicians of any age improving their game or performance, a professional discovering ways to stay calm and manage a heavy workload, or a retired person adapting to a new way of life. We are inspired by the limitless capacity of each person to grow and transform whatever their challenges or diagnoses.

We work with people who are on the autistic spectrum, have learning difficulties, sensory processing issues or speech and language conditions, want to improve their organisation, memory or social interactions, have symptoms of dyslexia, AD(H)D, dyspraxia, Tourette syndrome, stress or anxiety, have cerebral palsy or mobility difficulties, or have had a traumatic brain injury.

This list is not comprehensive and you don't need to have a diagnosis to work with us! We look beyond labels at what is happening for each individual. Find out more about the approaches we use here.

Sean Williams is known for his warmth and ability to connect with and understand people whatever their challenges. He is Co-Director of Brighton Learning House and has been a HANDLE Practitioner since 2001, a Feldenkrais Practitioner since 2016 and an Anat Baniel Method® Practitioner since 2019. Sean is one of three HANDLE Practitioner Instructors worldwide and is Assistant European Regional Education Director for The HANDLE Institute. He currently has clinics in Brighton and Manchester and teaches HANDLE courses all over the UK and Europe.

Sean has continually refreshed his learning to increase his skills and expertise, enabling him to support the wide range of clients that he now helps. He is excited about the new developments in his work as a result of studying the Anat Baniel Method through 2018-19. He began practicing Shiatsu professionally over 30 years ago and in 1997 began to train in play therapy for children with learning differences, cultivating the playfulness that now infuses his work. He has also trained in Sherborne Developmental Movement to Level 2, the Listening Programme (as a provider) and Bal-A-Vis-X.

His family with 2 young children deepens his understanding on a daily basis of the learning process with all of its joys, tribulations and wonder.

Sarah Hill is a HANDLE Screener and Intern (Practitioner in training). Since 2003 she has worked with children, teenagers and adults across the UK using home-based programmes, in specialist schools, colleges and a variety of other settings. Using a combination of playfulness, attention to detail and determination to approach things from different perspectives she has helped people on the autistic spectrum, with cerebral palsy and other learning differences to do more of the things they want to do. In 2013 she relocated to Brighton from Newcastle to work with Sean and Una and is a founding member of Brighton Learning House.

Sarah works part time across the week and spends the rest of her time marvelling at life with her energetic toddler.
